Through over ten years of research and exploration, he has developed a unique ceramic craft painting - overglazed color. His works are inspired from life, and his painting techniques skillfully employ both Eastern art and Western realistic techniques. The characteristics of ceramic material are fully leveraged, with the use of both real and imaginary elements to highlight the static with movement. The artistic technique of simplifying with complexity creates a refreshing space for the viewer, with relatively high artistic aesthetic and collection values.

His works have been awarded numerous national prizes and some of them have been collected by museums. His biography of art has been included in dictionaries such as The Dictionary of Outstanding Experts and Talents in the World, The Fourth Longteng Cup Exhibition of Famous Chinese Painters and Calligraphers in Japan, Collection of Fine Works of Chinese Painters and Calligraphers and The First Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou National Exhibition of Fine Works of Painting and Calligraphy. His works have been highly appreciated by domestic and international collectors.

Making overglaze enameled ceramic plaque painting is more difficult than traditional paper painting, because it has to be fired twice in the kiln and there are risks of cracking or deforming. However, the color enamels used in ceramic plaque painting are more stable and the texture is stronger. Ceramic plaque painting has more layering and is more three-dimensional than paper painting. Moreover, it can be permanently preserved, avoiding insect bites and weathering.

The Tibetan people cannot live without the yak for their clothing, food, shelter and travel, and its milk, beef and hair provide a source of life and strength for generations of Tibetans who have thrived and grown on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Zhuoma means girl in Tibetan, and the yak symbolizes the source of life and wealth in Tibet. Zhuoma's dream, the motif of this work, implies that the Tibetan people live forever and enjoy peace and prosperity. The maker of this work presented this traditional Tibetan theme in the contemporary painting style with the overglaze pile enameling technique which he invented. The style of this work is innovative and unique, and therefore this work is highly collectable.
