Lord Iliffe commissioned this piece on behalf of the Royal Yacht Squadron, he was Commodore at the time. It was presented to the RYS May 3rd 2008 to commemorate the completion of their Jubilee Haven in memory Lord Grantham who had presided over the first ever meeting.
Jonathan is a long term friend of Sharron and says she is a most special muse.
Originally Jonathan sculpted in clay to a high level of perfection.
This is then cast into bronze using the traditional lost wax process.
The patina is a warm chestnut colour with a verde gris leotard.
